Happy Valley is a pretty cool theme park in Beijing, China, that I got to visit with my friends last month. Surprisingly, it holds its own as a fun, well-planned and themed attraction with some great thrill rides and terrific experiences. Here's a walk through our day at the park.

The tigers attacked one of the women when she left her vehicle and walked a few meters away from the car. The surveillance video footage shows the woman being dragged by the tiger, which prompted the second woman, who later turned out to be her mother, to rush for help. However, she didn't survive the attack. While the park allows visitors to drive their own cars in a safari-style tour, they are prohibited to get out as the animals roam freely through the park. But the first woman got out of the car after an alleged argument, puttin...

Located in southwest Beijing's Fengtai District, the World Park （世界公园）contains miniatures of some of the most famous landmarks from around the globe. It's a good way to see the Eiffel Tower, the Pyramids of Giza, the Taj Mahal, the London Bridge, the Colosseum, and many more in an afternoon's time.
Tiantan Park in Beijing around 8am on Monday, 11 July 2011. My favourite parts are the man sword dancing and the large group folk singing right at the end. I found the visit very moving, it made me think Beijing might be quite a good place to live when I am old.
It was a nice park to walk around for half an hour, even in the biting cold. There are some nice sculpted gardens with a pagoda or two, plus the huge lake around which the park is based (albeit frozen this time of year) is nice to observe in the presence of traditional Chinese folk music. But I think Beihai Park is best viewed in the summer when the leaves are on the trees and when the flowers are in full bloom. Recorded February 22, 2013.

Visit Temple of Heaven (Tiantan Park) (Beijing, China) - Tourist attractions in Beijing, China Travel Videos HD, World Travel Guide http://www.youtube.com/subscription_center?add_user=World1Tube A tranquil oasis of peace and methodical Confucian design in one of China’s busiest urban landscapes, the 267-hectare Temple of Heaven Park is absolutely unique. It originally served as a vast stage for solemn rites performed by the emperor of the time (known as the Son of Heaven), who prayed here for good harvests and sought divine clearance and atonement. Strictly speaking, it's an altar rather than a temple – so don’t expect burning incense or worshippers. Surrounded by a long wall and with a gate at each compass point, the arrangement is typical of Chinese parks, with the imperfections, bumps...

Welcome to our jam packed vlog this week! We started off the weekend joining all of our Mexican friends celebrating Cino De Mayo. We showed our love for them through the consumption of far too many margaritas. To cure our hazy heads the next day, we headed to one of our fave summertime spots in the city - Jingshan Park. Situated in the South of Beijing, Jingshan Park not only gives you THE coolest view of the famous Forbidden City but it transports you to a haven that feels a million miles away from the crowds and claustrophobia of Beijing. Not only can you escape city life here but you will enjoy a sensory overload.. From pockets of talented, mature Beijingers serenading bypassers with their choral chants and accordion playing, to the waft of fresh beds of summer flowers sprinkled along ...
